Location
    Sardinia is the second largest island in Italy. Its climate and its sea made it a celebrated tourism destination, famous worldwide. Anyway, it also reveals other treasuries, on the side of cultural heritage, popular traditions, wine and food. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sardinia

    Scientific research is also quite dynamic, based on the parallel networks of Academy, with the Universities of Cagliari (www.unica.it) and Sassari (www.uniss.it) , and local Administration (www.sardegnaricerche.it ), with the three distributed Scientific and Technological Districts are focused on biomedicine, ICT and energy, and support several thematic laboratories.

    Venue for the launch of ISROS has been proposed by the University of Cagliari on its territory, at the other end of to the impressive 8 km long Poetto's beach that leads to Cagliari for visitors travelling west from Villasimius, along the wonderful southern Sardinian coast, or from the airport of Cagliari Elmas along the road belt (SS.554) the surrounds the city.

    It is a wonderful show with the parade of thousands of people, along the main streets of Cagliari, dressed in the ancient Sardinian costumes, representing all the villages in the Island. The Organization is planning to arrange free entrance for the ISROS attendees on the reserved balconies in Cagliari downtown
