    The great success of the first edition, on 11-15 May 2009, of ISROS 2009 prompts the Organizing Committee to repeat the announcement and call for the

    2nd International Symposium
    on
    Reliability of Optoelectronics For Space
    (ISROS 2010)

    that will be held on

    28-30 April, 2010
    in Quartu Sant’Elena - Cagliari (Italy)
    Space qualification remains a big issue when it comes to optoelectronic devices because of the wide range
    of components and the low level of standardization with respect to test conditions. The aim of this symposium
    is to give the floor to engineers and researchers that would like to present, in an informal framework, their
    work in progress in the fields of qualification, evaluation, reliability assessment and failure analysis on
    optoelectronic devices for space applications.
